When you are Seeking a Spiritual connection... Your ancestors are there

Our connection we have with our ancestors is real and it is special. We often learn of the connections at unexpected times, and it is during those times that you begin to feel the Spirit of your ancestor. Ancestors are often the ones that open us to the Spiritual world. They are here and when you begin to understand, you will feel their presence. I feel the Spirit of others’ ancestors as I researched and build a family tree. It is always a special moment when I feel them step in to help me.

Your ancestors are always with you, and the understanding of the connections we have comes as we begin to look into the Stories of their lives. Sometimes, as we are looking for one thing, we discover another… I was researching a family story and found a record that showed where their great-grandmother had attended college. The family was shocked as their daughter had just been accepted to the same college. And nobody knew. It was their daughter’s first choice for a school, and they couldn’t figure out why she was applying there. And now here it was, the ancestral connection.

Another shared with me that they are the only medical professional in their family. Her family is filled with educators. It made her feel like she wasn’t sure where she came from, and her family wasn’t sure either! When we discovered her great-great-grandfather was a field doctor in the Civil War, everything suddenly made sense. She knew why she was drawn to the medical field. She felt like she was walking in his footsteps, and she felt him next to her. Not only did she belonged in the medical field, it was her first experience feeling an ancestral spirit.

And Ancestors answer your questions... If you ask, they will find a way to answer.

I had a client wanting to know what her grandfather had died of… He died when her mom was very young, and her mother did not have a lot to share about him. When her mom passed away, she felt the loss of not only of her but knowing more about her father. When we are missing part of our story, we feel the gap; the puzzle isn’t complete. When someone dies young, the gap seems even bigger. You know there is more than one missing piece. Knowing why he died so young gives more information and a better understanding. She needed to know his story. I had spent quite a bit of time searching. I knew this was important, so I kept looking multiple times in all the places you might learn about someone’s passing but I could not find the answer.

I turned to her grandfather himself to help me find the answer. I talked to him in Spirit, telling him his granddaughter just needed to know. I looked again at a site I had looked at before. It was a site that provided cemetery information, which often listed the names of those buried there and sometimes included other family members. But never information about the cause of death.. Suddenly, I realized there was more written down the page, underneath the additional family members. It was just one line, all by itself. Listed as COD (cause of death): Tuberculosis of the knee. Not only was it an odd cause of death, but it was found in an odd place. I knew the nudge to look again and differently at this record came from her grandfather. It was a piece of the puzzle found, and it brought peace to the family to understand even just this little bit.

It also brought the knowledge that the portal is always open. Uncovering the stories of our ancestors that resonate so deeply, is often the beginning of this connection. When you discover there was someone who came before you who had deep experiences that are similar to yours, allow yourself to feel the spiritual connection. It is an energetic feeling often in your heart center that tells you, you know this person, this ancestor, and they know you. When you feel that connection, they are standing right beside you…
