"My life divided into before and after the moment I heard my great-great-grandmother's voice ... a woman born in Magherafelt, Ireland in 1834."

"This journey brought me into a deep relationship with my ancestors and to an awakening I didn't even know could happen. It wasn't a journey I set out on, but one where Spirit took my hand and guided me through. And it had begun long

before David and I had even met…"

Ancestral Whispers

Bernadette O'Brien Thompson's Irish-American roots stretch back through famine ships and tenement hallways, carried forward by a resilience so deep it would one day move her through the hardest years of her life. Long before she understood what ancestral healing was, she was drawn to the stories. She built family trees and sat with what emerged — people who had crossed an ocean not knowing what waited on the other side. They were not strangers to her. She knew them.

There was a moment that changed everything, when her husband David shared his battle with alcoholism. She would spend the years that followed loving him, grieving him, and carrying a hope so fragile she once stood in a grocery store checking expiration dates on food, quietly praying that things would be better before they ran out.

They were not.

David passed away four and a half years later. And in the quiet that followed, her ancestors came. Her great-aunt Sr. Lou arrived first, in a visitation dream, to say: "We hear your prayers." Then came Annie — her great-great-grandmother — saying the rosary through her in an Irish brogue she had never spoken but somehow always known.

She was not alone. She had never been alone.

WHO I WORK WITH

She works with people who are grieving. People who feel a pull toward their ancestors but don't know where to begin. People who have had an experience they can't explain and are afraid to say it out loud. And people who are simply ready — not knowing for what, but knowing it's time.

If any of this sounds familiar, know that I am here to sit with you, help you listen, and open the window ... just a little.

Let's begin.

Ancestral Healing is like sitting together at the edge of an ancient well. Sometimes the water is clear, Sometimes it is stirred by old winds,

but the well itself has always been here.
