My name is Bernadette O’Brien Thompson, and I walk beside those navigating the sacred terrain of grief, loss, and longing the ones who feel the stirrings of something ancient calling them back to wholeness.

I am the founder of Tell Me Our Story, Ancestral Healing, a space where healing isn’t rushed or forced, but remembered. Where ancestral connection is not imagined, but felt. Where grief becomes a compass, guiding you back to the strength, love, and wisdom you carry in your lineage and in your bones.

My own journey began with deep loss.
When my husband passed away from the long illness of alcoholism, something inside me shattered, and something opened. In the silence that followed, I heard the voices of my ancestors, and I followed their call. That sacred awakening changed everything. It became the foundation of the work I now share.

I am an intuitive healer, a spirit communicator, a trauma-informed genealogist, and a certified grief and end-of-life doula. But more than any title, I am a companion on your path. I hold space for your story, and I help you listen for the ones that came before you—the ancestors who walk with you still.

This work is not only about healing the past.
It is about reclaiming your belonging.
It is about remembering who you are, and who walks with you.
